We are getting married at the church of St Michael and All Angels, Walford.

By car: Find your way to Ross-on-Wye and on to Walford using these instructions: via M50 or M5/A40.

By public transport is unfortunately quite difficult. Gloucester is probably the nearest train station, but it’s still a fair drive away, making taxi’s expensive. Buses are an option but not very fast…

As you enter the village, the main road curves to the left; the church is directly opposite (behind the war memorial). Additional parking can be found by turning right at the war memorial and then through the gate on the left.

The Reception and Dinner are being hosted by Wythall Estate, Bulls Hill, Walford, HR9 5SD.

It’s a short drive from the church. Going back out of Walford, take the second right (after the primary school). When the lane bends right, you will pass the Lower Wythall B&B. Immediately past this on the left is the gate leading into the field for parking. Please park here and walk through the gate to the tent. A glass of Pimms will be waiting!

** Please note! If the weather is very wet, we will avoid parking on the field so that no-one gets stuck. Please check with Jean-Paul or Mirjam after the service in case of changes. **

If you are not driving to and from the venue, we do recommend asking who may have a free seat in their car at the end of the day, since most people will be staying in Ross or nearby. Alternatively, there are several local taxi companies. A trip from Walford to Ross will cost about £10, or £15 after 11pm.
