Dotting Eyes and Crossing Teas

So, just over a week to go!

If you haven’t heard from us recently, apologies. Our to-do list only fits in the house thanks to sophisticated accordion-fold technology.

It’s colour-coded for easy reading!

To summarise, we now know what will be in the curry, whose arms we are twisting to help put tents up, where Mike left his favourite socks, and what the weather will be like on the day. It’s looking like it will be very nice – dry but not so hot we all melt into our chairs.

We hope everyone had a fantastic Easter. We enjoyed catching up with family on both sides last week – a taster for the big gathering coming up!

Looking forward to seeing you all soon. Massive thank you to everyone who has helped with a million tasks so far.

With love and abandonment,

Progress Report

This has been a bit of a busy week! In between doing normal jobs writing our books and hosting some excellent friends, we’ve managed to get our wedding rings sorted. Very excited about that, especially since it involved extended discussions with the jeweller’s hand engraver about the poems we wanted around the inner rim. Turns out I’m a bit verbose and should have picked something shorter.

The personal touch

Moreover, we forced ourselves to do some Actual Maths and work out the area of flooring needed for our complex arrangement of gazebos. Thanks mum and dad for storing it in the meantime. If anyone fancies helping make a giant jigsaw puzzle, let us know…

Hope you are feeling the fantastic arrival of Spring where you are; we’re still enjoying the novelty of sunshine through the windows.

The Road to Walford

Welcome to our little website!

We’re hoping to provide all the information you might need before our big day, and will try to post updates on some exciting milestones.

In 2018 we got talked into doing a recorded reading of Paradise Lost. Still tired.
